School’s Back

It’s time to hit  the stores for school supplies, get any school uniforms in place, plan car pool routes, and schedule events during possible ‘free time’ (no scoffers please). Whether school is happening or not, this is the time of year when we acknowledge that Summer is wrapping up, and normal life schedules ensue (whatever that is). We would like to encourage to try and add something new. Try and find a way to include a regular time when you learn about God together. If your child is Preschool or Elementary School, then you already have a built in component in the Take Home Items that you receive each week. These are great tools to utilize!

Each week your preschool or elementary child is engaged in a meaningful way to help them know and grow in a relationship with Jesus. However, the conversation is never meant to end when they walk out of the classroom door. Instead, we use it as the launching point. Each program hands out weekly materials to help you, the parent, keep the conversation going at home. Be sure to visit each of their websites to take full advantage of the tools available to you.

Looking To Get Involved?

Our Children’s Ministry program is a great opportunity to enrich the lives of children and families. There are many different opportunities based on your gifts, personality, and availability. We have an orientation class coming up that will help you better understand the different roles available to you. Our next class is scheduled for August 8th during the 9:15 am service.
